Not EXTRA VIRGIN by any means

Idk if this year's harvest was somehow compromised in quality but this is not extra virgin olive oil AT ALL. I waited for months to order the latest harvest batch, Oct 2025 and was so disappointed

It says on the packaging that it has a fiery, bitter flavour like REAL extra virgin but it dosent. It flavour is soo mild, you can barely taste it. No matter the kind of olives, the flavour wouldn't be this mild if it were really extra virgin, because of the anti oxidants aka polyphenols. The smell is non existent like any other refined olive oils in the market.

This tastes, smells and feels like EVERY OTHER refined olive oil that I have had. NO difference at all. And the nozzle was soo big. I highly doubt a reputed olive oil manufacturer would give such a big nozzle. They don't value their own product because they know it's refined

Excellant fragrance and density. pleasure to finally not have to buy an imported olive oil. I do wish you would sell olives as well

Impressed

Here in Goa, we have been suffering an extended olive oil crisis with almost everything in all our stores being sub-standard or obviously adulterated. Italian, Spanish, however expensive, all very disappointing. Indian olive oil almost sounds like a joke, but my first impression of Jaypore's products have definitely given me hope. I think you're on to an excellent thing if you find a way to refuse to compromise and maintain the stricted standards possible. Good luck, you have a fan and supporter in me, and eventually I'll consider writing about you too.

Flavour Notes

This oil packs a deliciously robust flavor profile, which evokes notes of various green apple and hazelnut, and finishes with a pleasant, peppery zing in the throat with a balanced bitterness, which is indicative of the high polyphenol count

Usage

Ideal for when you want to go all Greek and cherish the good old Santorini food. Make delicious hummus, dips, salads, and roasts using Koroneiki EVOO.
